EMA by Modernizing Medicine is a healthcare IT suite of EMR, analytics, practice management and more. Our new integration allows you to have a fully connected practice: capture leads from your website, track and nurture them in Dewy and then sync them to your ModMed EHR.

Here are a few ways that our customers use this integration:

• Automatically add patients who book consultations or appointments to ModMed
• Automatically add all new leads to ModMed
• Automatically add patients to ModMed after they achieve a specific goal
• Update contacts in ModMed as their contact information changes

One of the top use cases used by our customers is to add new leads to their Modernizing Medicine account after they book a consultation or appointment.

Here are the fields that are able to synced from your Dewy account to EMA:

• Email
• First Name
• Last Name
• Phone Number
• Date of Birth
• Gender

Our team is here to set up and implement the Modernizing Medicine integration for all customers.

Step 1: All customers must first activate the Synapsis API in your Modernizing Medicine Account. To do this, email practicesolutions@modmed.com and ask them to activate the API in your account. Depending on your account, there may be a monthly fee that Modernizing Medicine charges for access to their API.

Step 2: After the API has been activated, navigate to the integrations section in your Modernizing Medicine account. Note: Only system administrators can access this section.

Step 3: Activate the Dewy integration and send us the following credentials:

• Tenant (EMA URL)
• API Username
• API Password

Our enhanced bidirectional ModMed integration

Exciting news! We have been working on a new enhanced bidirectional ModMed-Dewy integration that will keep your EMR/EHR in perfect sync with your Dewy account in real time.

The new integration will allow you to sync the following data from ModMed to Dewy:

• MRN
• Email
• First Name
• Last Name
• Cell phone
• Home phone
• Date of Birth
• Gender
• Last appointment date and time
• Next appointment date and time
• ICD-10 codes
• ICD-10 code names/descriptions
• Invoice data
