Syncing data from Dewy to ModMed

The following fields will sync from Dewy to ModMed:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Phone number
• Email
• Gender
• DOB

Important! Due to ModMed's API rate limit of 1,000 calls per minute, larger contact databases may take 4-14 days to sync from ModMed to Dewy.

Our team is here to set up and implement the Modernizing Medicine integration for all customers.

Step 1: All customers must first activate the Synapsis API in your Modernizing Medicine Account. If you already have the API activated, go to Step 2.

To activate the API package, email practicesolutions@modmed.com. Please note that there may be a monthly fee that Modernizing Medicine charges for access to their API.

Step 2: To activate the Dewy app, navigate to the integrations section in your Modernizing Medicine account and search it within their marketplace. Note: Only system administrators can access this section.

Step 3: Activate the Dewy integration and send us the following credentials:

• Tenant (This is your ModMed/EMA URL. Example: dewy.ema.md)
• API Username
• API Password
